Dice has convinced fans that it is a server issue and they are trying to add servers around the clock. Presumably EA will extend the game with premium map packs, but to keep gamers away from. By name many users have tried to get in on the action of Battlefield 1943 but have been hit with a bit of a snag. Thanks also goes out to Project Reality mod for providing some awesome assets as well! Despite the lack of game modes and a bare bones class system, Battlefield 1943 differs enough from the competition to make it a worthwhile alternative to the likes of CoD, Halo, Gears of War, Killzone 2, Resistance and the rest. He allowed us to use his Wake Island HD version, and also allowed us to use the HD textures from that mod. Thanks also goes out to B4rr3l from the HD Remastered mod for Battlefield 2.
